आविष्कारों का समाज के हर वर्ग तक पहुंचना जरुरी है।
जरुरी यह है की ये सभी आविष्कार अधिकांश लोगों तक पहुँचना चाहिए, खासकर ग्रामीण इलाकों में। शहर के वासी यह उपकरणों का आसानी से अपना लेते है, क्योंकि शहर की लोग अपनी सुविधा के लिए जरुरी खर्च कर सकते हैं, लेकिन ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में ऐसा नहीं है। सरकार द्वारा सब्सिडी के बावजूद, सौर उपकरण ग्रामीण लोगों के बहुमत तक नहीं पहुंच पाये है।

कोयले, लकड़ी, या गोबर के जलने से जो धुँआ पैदा होता है उस में कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड जैसा झहरीला वायु होता है।
वाहनों, और कारखानों के कारण प्रदूषण के लिए शहरी क्षेत्र बदनाम है, लेकिन अविश्वसनीय रूप से प्रदूषण की समस्या ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भी मौजूद है लेकिन दूसरे रूप से। ग्रामीणों द्वारा बनाये गए अधिकांश घरो में हवादार रसोईघर नहीं होते है। कोयले, लकड़ी, या गोबर के जलने से जो धुँआ पैदा होता है उस में कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड जैसा झहरीला वायु होता है। खाना पकाने के दौरान महिलाओं के द्वारा यह वायु साँसों में जाता है और रक्ताल्पता तथा कई अन्य बीमारियों का कारण बनता है। हालांकि 'प्रधान मंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना' (पीएमयूवाई) से ग्रामीण क्षेत्रो ने इस परिदृश्य पर अच्छा प्रभाव डाला है, लेकिन फिर भी समस्या पूरी तरह निर्मूल नहीं हुई है।
ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में सूर्यप्रकाश की उपलब्धता।
शहरों में ऊँचे मकानों के बीच खाली जगह की कमी के कारण सौर ऊर्जा आसानी से उपलब्ध नहीं है। जबकि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में, खुले और चौड़े खेतो में भरपूर सूर्य प्रकाश मिलता है सो वहां सौर ऊर्जा का उपयोग करना आसान है।
सूर्य कुकर के प्रकार।
सोलर कुकर दो प्रकार होते हैं, एक पेटी के आकार में उपलब्ध है जिसकी कींमत तकरीबन 2000-3000 रुपये तक है, और दूसरा छतरी(पैराबोला) जैसा प्रकार है, जिसकी लागत 11000 / - से अधिक है। हकीकत यह है कि कुछ अमीर ग्रामीणों को छोड़कर, सभी ग्रामीण लोग इतना महंगा कुकर नहीं खरीद सकते।
